Photos - 2002 - page 3 - Shinmachi

This is Shinmachi, the part of town in which I live. The school in
the background is Okuganaya Elementary School. I took this picture
from acroos the Ichi River. (Click
here to see it pasted together badly.)

Looking southwest over Ikuno. (See the
map.)

A main road in my town. The pits ("Gaijin traps") at the
side of the road are noticable here.

A typical street in Ikuno.

This is a footpath, though I'm sure that mini cars have tried to go
down it.

The ubiquitous vending machines: meiji = snacks, then cigarettes,
Haagen-Dazs, the pop, and tea and coffee (both hot and cold!).

The little graveyard in the woods where I like to go and think.
